Against Your Society - The Path of Ages [EP] :
Genre : hardcore / punk
Based : Düsseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfahlen, Germany
Last week I took an one hour ride to Cologne to see an exclusive germany show of Trash Talk. Well, it was great but as you can see this entry is about another band: Against Your Society was supporting Trash Talk on this evening. They are a hardcore / punk band based in Düsseldorf (my hometown btw). I haven't heard of them before but they seem to have a bigger fan base as expected. Their show was godlike. I bought their EP and now I'm trying to get their two full-lenghts. I'm looking forward to see them again together with The Ghost Inside / For The Fallen Dreams at their Cologne show in November.
They sound a bit like Your Demise, but more punky I think... However... This EP is a really awesome piece of hardcore music.

A list of albums I bought @ iTunes since 04th September 2009 :

With iTunes, which is nowadays probably the most used software to listen to music, it's not really often I buy an album on CD, physically speaking.
I'm trying to go a CD retailer as often as I can to purchase physical records, but, hey, money's not automatic.
Well of course itunes/apple takes a profit when I buy something in their store but the band does, too. Because cutting a physical album is too expensive for most of the unknown bands nowadays, iTunes could be the last way to save them. Too many are downloading the shit illegaly.
iTunes is one of the last opportunities to save music, even when the physical CD is dying because of it.
I'm not saying that iTunes is the best way to support bands, but you should pay a price for the music you get.
With THIS I just want to enhance, that I do NOT support loading illegaly from blogs like deathcoreissexy or something...

(I prefer buying physical albums, but often the price of iTunes is better, at least in Germany... To see which albums I bought or got physical look up my blog entry "Music Collection".)
